I had the pleasure to intern at the Betty Bottom Showroom located in the California Market Center in the Fashion District in Downtown Los Angeles.

Some of my tasks included data processing, being able to communicate with buyers, visual merchandising along with learning how to organize a showroom.

My experience at Betty Bottom has not only been educational but it has been an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to learn the nitty gritty details of processing data along with being able to express my ideas when it came to visual merchandising to see which way the product could be displayed the best to catch the interest of a possible client. Along with this I was able to really learn the language of a buyer and a sales person when doing business. It gave me that real life experience that I personally believe I will never get in a classroom. It allowed me to see the industry through the position of an employee and colleague in comparison of my usual student position.
