Design and Merchandising Strategies
AMM 310
In this class we used Adobe Illustrator to design, outline, and showcase apparel lines and flat drawings that were used for line sheet development. We were also instructed to create a business plan to go along with the apparel line. In this class I had the learning objective and experience to understand how a brand is started and how individuals are able to make the brand cohesive to make sure it catches the eye of the appropriate consumer and potential ones as well.
Product Line Development
Mood Board
In the Design and Merchandising Strategies class we were expected to design an apparel line but before we could design we were instructed to learn the process of creativity. I created a "mood board" which showcased the inspiration for my season, color scheme, and overall collection theme.

Product Line
The work shown is a line sheet for an apparel line by the name of "Hello Sunshine" that I developed for the Fall season that was created on Adobe Illustrator. I was instructed to create six pieces that would reach to a target market of women from the ages of 20-40 who were financially stable and were interested in buying affordable, fashionable, and good quality clothing. Some of these items were carryover, recordable and fashion forward.

Visual Merchandising
Along with designing an apparel line I also was introduced to Visual Merchandising through Adobe Illustrator which allowed me to display my apparel line in a correct retail setting.
